10.950 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Applicant Eligibility: Farmers and agricultural producers, marketing and processing groups, transportation and handler groups, consumers, State governments, educational institutions, and the general public including those located in the U.S. Territories.

10.950 PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Estimates on about 120 crops and 45 livestock items are included in about 400 reports. These reports include crops, livestock and poultry estimates; agricultural chemical usage; prices received by farmers; prices paid for commodities and services; and data on farm employment and wage rates. The Census of Agriculture is conducted every 5 years, for the years ending in a "2" or "7" and provides comprehensive data down to the county level on all aspects of the agricultural economy.
