11.110 PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

This program included regular statistical reports; economic studies on current policy issues, such as international trade and industry competitiveness and the impact of Government regulations on industry; forecasts of industry/sector output, cost trends, and their general economic condition; information on industry structure, operations and technological developments; advocacy on behalf of U.S. bidders for foreign procurement projects; export promotion events and foreign market information.

11.110 ASSISTANCE CONSIDERATIONS:

Formula and Matching Requirements:  Not applicable.

Length and Time Phasing of Assistance:  Not applicable.

Uses and Use Restrictions:  To serve as the Federal Government source of industry-specific expertise, advocacy on behalf of American companies for major overseas contracts, negotiation and enforcement of bilateral and multilateral trade agreements, industry competitiveness analysis and trade promotion assistance; for use by the business community, Federal program managers and policy-makers.

11.110 POST ASSISTANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Reports:  None.

Audits:  "In accordance with the provisions of OMB Circular No. A-133 (Revised, June 24, 1997), recipients that are States, Local Governments, Non-profit Organizations (to include Hospitals), and Institutions of Higher Learning shall be subject to the audit requirements contained in the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996 (31 U.S.C. 7501-7507). Commercial organizations shall be subject to the audit requirements as stipulated in the award document."
