Applicant Eligibility: Limited to the ECA core cooperating organization (NAFSA: Association of International Educators).
Beneficiary Eligibility: Professionals involved in international education administration.
Credentials/Documentation: Not applicable.
Preapplication Coordination: Administered by NAFSA, in cooperation with the Department of State. This program is excluded from coverage under E.O. 12372.
Application Procedure: Availability of annual grants announced by NAFSA through newsletters, e-mail, websites, and other appropriate means. Applications must be submitted to NAFSA.
Award Procedure: NAFSA convenes a panel, including a State Department representative, to review applications and select awardees.

Criteria for Selecting Proposals: Value of proposed exchange to home and receiving partner; multiplier effect; cost sharing.
Examples of Funded Projects: International Admissions officer from the College of William and Mary traveled to New Zealand and Australia to meet with advisers, educators and government officials to discuss a broad range of issues including the New Zealand, Australian and U.S. systems of education, credentials evaluation, and promoting the U.S. as a study abroad destination for Australians & New Zealanders.

Formula and Matching Requirements: Applicants' home and hosting institutions are expected to contribute to their participation.
Length and Time Phasing of Assistance: Partnership program: About three weeks' duration. Regional Linkage program: About one week's duration. All exchanges should take place within 18 months of selection.
Uses and Use Restrictions: Linkage: Awards are given for overseas educational advisers to attend regional U.S. conferences on international education. Partnership: Awards are given to U.S. professionals in international education to visit overseas educational advising centers.
Reports: Within 30 days of completion of programs.
